Nine cats are buried here outside my bedroom window. I hope to not have to bury another cat for many years. I’ve buried three in the last year and a half, and 5 cats in the last five years. Often I look out at the cat garden and think to myself, today is a good day because I can feel the solid earth beneath my feet.
