The first cold front of Autumn is finally blowing through this evening. Floridians anticipate and look forward to the first cool wave of weather in October the same way people up north look forward to the first warm day of spring. The temperature will drop below 76 degrees for the first time since May, and reach the low 60s late this evening. Tomorrow will simply be a fabulous day. The respite from five months of heat and humidity will be brief as temperatures will quickly warm back up again next week. The first cold front does signal the change in weather patterns in Florida. The weather will now primarily come from the northern dryer cooler climates instead of the warm moist temperate Caribbean in the south. Seven months of beautiful weather lay ahead. Mountain Lioness and Paso Robles are sensing the climate change too as they each take turns chilling out on a bench in the Florida Room. They love sitting out in the Florida Room where they are continually entertained by the birds, squirrels, and other critters in the back yard.
