This view of the Withlachoochee State Forest is from the perspective of a riding a bicycle. Yes there are some small hills in Florida. The Withlachoochee State Forest is about 60 miles north of Tampa. When most people think of Florida, the first thing that comes to their mind is beaches. There is another beautiful part of Florida if you drive inland from the coasts. The Withlachoochee State Forest is a hardwood forest full of beautiful trees, quiet roads, and peaceful surroundings. I’ve been driving up to this forest from St. Petersburg for 20 years now to go cycling. This part of Florida always makes me feel happy, calm and peaceful. I find this area simply wonderful to get out into the country and away from the congestion of the coasts.
Since you like riding there, you should come up to Tennessee to ride when I get there.
That is a good idea Ron
