After five months of heat and torrential rain, at long last, a cool breeze blasted in from the northwest. The change in the wind direction from the south to the north signals the beginning of the change of seasons. The stranglehold of summer is beginning to give way. Six months of glorious weather lay ahead. Today was the first time I was on the bicycle since the 4th of July when I was in Colorado.
