Sunrise at Crew Lake – Crew Lake Park in Pasco County is where I start many of my long distance bike rides from. The shores of Crew Lake are overflowing. The first time I saw Crew Lake the lake bed was dry, causing me to wonder where the lake was and why this park was called Crew Lake Park. The torrential rains of this past summer filled the lake. This past summer had the most rain since I moved to Florida 36 years ago.
