Fort De Soto Park

Posted on November 12, 2015 by Rob Spera
North Shore of Ft. De Soto Park
A beautiful peaceful day on the North Shore of Ft. De Soto Park

Fort De Soto Park is actually a chain of five interconnected islands, or keys. The picture is of Mullet Key, I am staying on St. Jean Key. Then rest of the park is made up of St. Christopher Key, Madelaine Key, and Bonnie Fortune Key. This land is essentially where the southern tip of Pinellas County dissolves into the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. The keys are still pristine, a reminder of what the Florida coastline looked like 100 years ago. There are no condo, hotels, or restaurants.
