Bed for a Bicycle

Every Italian racing bicycle should have it’s own bed. Actually, I couldn’t find a good place in the RV to store the bike. I certainly wasn’t going to hang the bike outside on the bike rack that is holding the mountain bike. I am staying for a week near Clermont and Mt Dora, northwest of Orlando Florida. Many cyclists in Florida head for this area because there are many hills around here, including Sugarloaf Mountain, the highest elevation in peninsular Florida at 312 feet above sea level. Cycling here is not exactly like the Rocky Mountains, where 312 feet is the average elevation gain in one mile (6% grade) and those climbs go on for miles. Sugerloaf “Mountain” will have to do for now. There are also many beautiful lakes (the county here is called Lake County) to ride around. I’ve mapped out several rides for the week, and I am looking forward to a week camping and being outdoors in spectacular weather.
